Hi, I’m Jen and I’m terrible at tell people about myself! Whenever I try, I have vivid flashbacks to year 7 drama when we had to introduce ourselves by saying an adjective starting with the first letter of our name and then acting it out. My teacher asked me my name to do an example and the first word that came to his mind was “jumbo”, he then proceeded to walk around the hall like an elephant. Luckily, he didn’t end up teaching there for long but that is a whole other story.

I used to be a teacher but it wasn’t the right fit so I left to study a masters in Creative Writing and along the line I started this blog to document my work and to hold myself somewhat accountable to actually write.
